Actually the lights have remained nearly the same, I removed one very
dim one and lowered the brightness of the two main lights. Camera
location has moved slightly. But yes, I know what you mean. The edges
were too bright and I decided it was too much reflection doing it (the
back wall was fairly bright).
I've since added a mirror into the background and changed the "gold"
once again. I was going completely by memory instead of look at the
watch, kept in a drawer right now. Big mistake, it may seem coppery to
me whan I think of real golden coloring but it actually is not much
different than the typical gold ring a person wears. I went and ended up
with a copper tea kettle metal. Well, it will change again.
I did use area lights once, without jitter, problem is not enough shadow
falls onto anything much.
