...that *is* useful!  texture.c is one of those files i'm more likely to
have.

 I don't think I've ever seen 3.1 non 'a' source.   Nor a good list that
summarizes in words the differences. 

Oh well, it doesn't really matter.  POV-Team is working on 3.5...
