I am new to Moray and POV and am having difficulty creating bent
tubes. I am trying to model a Mountain bike handlebar and other "bendy
stuff" such as the cables and frame.
    Thanks in advance - Jayholly.

If you want to model (not script) your objects, and also do this in a
modeller that can export to Moray format, try TreeDesigner at
http://www.algonet.se/~jhubert/TreeDesigner.

Although TD was meant for trees, a bike-frame can be easily created with
TD.

Note: TD does not model "real" curved/bent objects, but rather
approaches "bendedness" by putting together lots of cylinders: The more
(and shorter) cylinders, the higher the "resolution" of the "pipe" and
the less visible (and soon invisible) it is, that the pipe is assembled
out of lots of small straight cylinders (actually the same concept as it
underlies the usage of triangle-meshes to create smooth shaped objects:
The more triangles, the smoother...)

Greetings,

Johannes.
