I downloaded the Macintosh Power PC version 3.1 of POV Ray yesterday,
and after I installed it, the program refused to load.  A message box
popped up stating that I need the Appearance extension and then the POV
Ray program promptly quit.

I have already been to the Apple developers web site to try and download
the Appearance extension (an .hqx file) but I received an error message
from the Apple web site that the file is not available.  I'm running OS
7.6.1 on a PowerBook 3400c.  I tried both Netscape Communicator v4.06
and MS Internet Explorer 4.01 to get the file to no avail.

I have posted messages to the support people at Apple and have not
received a reply to date.  Does anyone know how I can get this
extension?  Until I install the extension, I can't use the POV Ray
program.
