Adam,

You can add another setting to the quickres.ini by selecting "Edit
Settings/Render" from the "Render" menu.  Choose "Edit" from the "INI" section
of the dialog box, add your new setting at the bottom and save it.

With regards to the quality and screen resolution of your image, is your image
going to be used in print or just for on-screen viewing?  If you let me know
what you are planning for your image, I can give you specific render settings
for POV.  You definitely don't want to fall into the trap of rendering at a
higher resolution just because you can.  Your final output device(s) should
dictate your render settings.

More is not always better.
