Well, I finally found some time to comment - not critique, just my .02

- This is a point I've seen mentioned several times, so I won't claim
rights: My attention span is limited, I like challenges but I rarely have
the patience to maintain 'eye contact' more than a week or so. This is
not only a personal defect - rarely a week goes by that an unforeseen
event causes a change in course here.

- I have presented several images in the past, more to see if I could
get them ready in time or not. I would rather have presented them in the
hope of learning or receiving constructive criticism, but I never had any
of that. Maybe because there is no real 'community' around TCCHEP? After
all the discussion are here on irtc, which (for me) takes an effort to
sit down and read, and not on a dedicated mailing list. (Is there even
mention on TC Chep on how to contact participants on this media?)
Do new people interested in ray-tracing even know that these News fora
exist? And how to connect to them?

- Taking into account the previous point, I do propose a voting system
for the comment section. I believe constructive comments should be
awarded...

- I sincerely hope the new system will work better! I have the impression
though that a more continuous contact is necessary to maintain the
fire burning...

John
