> How can I create a prism with 'arcs'-sides?
I would suggest you read section 2.3.1 of the POV-Ray Documentation
which covers spline-based shapes, including splines in prisms. You
probably want to use a quadratic spline, if I have understood you
correctly. When you say an "arc", do you really mean an arc, which is
the shape of part of the circumference of a circle, or do you mean a
general curve? If it is an arc, then I think unioning a few cylinders
together would work very well if you can cope with the maths. If it is a
general curve, then I would recommend using a prism with a cubic spline.
Hope this helped,
Daniel
