No, I don't know what system you are using so I haven't a clue what you 
need to do. It compiled fine on Mandrake 8.1 but you need to set $KDEDIR to 
/usr for the install to work (I hand install my compile!)

I suggest you look at the mailing list for KPOVModeler.
