| did you use black hole warps to move the clouds that way? i've wanted
| to shift my clouds in that manner, but haven't really tried much.
| there's something 'off' about your clouds, but the same can be said
| about mine. i must echo the remark about the atmosphere glow on the
| dark side, but perhaps that's one reason you called it a WIP.
Yes, that's exactly why I called it a WIP, as well as the clouds.
I used the displace_warp in Chris Huff's MP+ patch to distort the clouds.
| and when you say random, what do
| you mean? is it a macro with parameters? if so, what kinds of
| parameters and can the image be duplicated?
I mean random. The pigments that make up the world can be translated in
infinite directions (just not the y).
i must say that guys like
| you and mr. tran have been great motivation for me. i am most envious
| of your years of experience. i think i have talent for this sort of
| thing, but having just started this year, i don't yet have the
| know-how. i've noticed that you haven't commented on any of my stuff.
| hopefully you didn't think it's crap (or worse, think that it's so-so).
On the contrary, I think your modelling skills are superb, as evidenced by
your x-wing model. However, your texturing skills could use some work,
also evidenced by your model. Again, this is something that comes with
time and experience.
| anyway, keep up the inspiring work.
Thanks.
