Nothing about it in the docs, either. However, you can do some cold-blooded
hand coding in POV itself, and save the sky sphere in an .inc file and then

in your scene settings in Moray, add that include file. It works. 

BTW, you get some cool lighting effects with sky speres, using gradients
and
layers. I'm using a gradient going one way for the visible portion of the
sky, and
another partly transparent gradient going the other way. You can't see the
second
gradient except what reflects off objects in the screen.
