You can of course set the data rate yourself (this is probably what's causing the file
size
increase). In the Define Output dialog (the diskette icon), go to the video tab and
click on
the Format Options button. You can set the Data rate here.
All the best,

If I try to download the movies I get .pl files. What should I do with
this type of files?
In the latest version of TMPGenc one can import .bmp files to produce a
mpeg1 movie file!

I had to let the link open the page with the m1v contents, seen as coded,
then use the File menu to Save Page as... (in Mozilla web browser anyway).

That first animation lost most of the frame before finishing. Don't know if
that means Windows Media Player couldn't handle the file right or if the
file I got was broken. Also looks like a violet color might have gotten
lost, seeing just those two blue beams. Was nice animating though, slow and
fun to watch.

I used TMPGEnc to compress some of my anims, I just point it at the
first output bmp, and it picks up the rest of the frames
automatically. No need to create an uncompressed AVI first.
Also if you want to compress to AVI, VirtualDub 1.4.11 now allows you
to specify an image sequence (bmp or tga).

Hallo Hermann,
what you get is this (as example: )
http://www.it-berater.org/download/down.pl?file=21
That is a CGI-Script which runs server-sided to count for me the number of
downloads (in this case for file nr. 21).
If you just click it, it will deliver you the wanted file.
Btw. the counter shows 21-46 Downloads currently (for each of the movies)
.-).

The first animation has a story, which can be read in the first post to this
thread.
After reading it, you'd know "the secret of" the missing "tiles".
Just want to say that it is NOT a Media-Player-Problem but that the video is
just like that.

"Sometimes one has to go through hellto find later that there was an easy
way at any time" :-).
Thinking about it, I found myself doing an extra circle around "30-days
trial versions",
mostly not even taking the time to read exactly what they can do or not.
After all the advice I got now, I've already downloaded the recommended
Tools
and will try them next time.
At the moment, I feel that my problem is rather that I have not enough
CPU-Power,
or at least I would want to have more :-) to render the full video in 30
Minutes.
