Altho I will say, this show usually has much funnier pranks, so I'm kind of
wondering if this whole thing wasn't just staged, given his expression at
the end.

This is *totally* staged; you can tell from the punches and kicks: They
have the typicall "B-movie" feel, without any real "weight" in them;
also note how they painstakingly avoid to show the actual impact of any
of these hits.

These days, they can't do that with normal people in the streets without
risking multimillion dollar sues, I guess...

Don't forget to read the description under the poster's name:
"Everyone in this video is a hired actor. No one got hurt."

Does that mean if you hit someone you better make sure they stay down?

I think the show is not produced in the US, so it might not really be
an issue.

That show is full of people doing this sort of stuff. They just don't
physically assault people. I'm surprised the "Annoying Devil" doesn't get
kicked in the nuts more often, tho.

More often something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7ood21fEMM

It's actually a very funny TV show. I rarely find such things amusing, but
this one usually gets a two or three LOLs per show from me.

You can google "Just for laughs TV" and see some more that's funnier.

Now that's one ingeniously mean prank :-)

Yeah, the whole show is like that. They'll park a clunker at the curb, wait
for a pedestrian to wait at the light, then give him a petition to sign.
When he leans the clipboard against the light post to sign it, the whole
light post topples over and smashes the car, at which point the other actor
will come out and go ape on him. :-) All kinds of really funny stuff.
