That's not the point of the question. The point of the question is legal
coverage. Valve doesn't care if children see it. Valve only cares if lawyers
will yell at them for letting children see it.

Textures viewed "edge-on" look better.

Yes, I do know that - it's kinda stupid that one has to cover oneself
using a method that anyone/everyone lies when using.

I'm over 18 (obviously) and I sometimes use fake dates on those age
verification forms, because I'm old enough and by how much isn't any of
their business.

LOL, good one. :-)

Leisure Suit Larry had such question at the start of the game. I once
tested what it says if you answer under 18 :).

If there's pull-down menus, it's enough to check the year far enough,
then just slap something to month and date.

Have you actually researched CUDA?
Do you plan on using it yourself?

I've looked into it a bit, and it's not useful for anything I would want
to do.

There actually IS a version of TMPGEnc that uses it... to run slower
than an Intel Core 2 Quad. Great achievement, NVidia.

OpenCL, whenever it gets released (the specs have been finalized, I
believe) *looks* useful, just like CUDA *looks* useful (although OpenCL
is vendor agnostic, so you've got access to a much larger installed
base), but we have no way of knowing how fast things will run until AMD
and NVidia get some implementations finished & shipped (hopefully later
this year, but if they have to cut staff then maybe early next).

I remember that, yeah. Used to sell it, in fact - even though I was
under 18. That was kinda weird, but it was a funny game.

Yeah, though often I'll pick the earliest year. I figure if they're
using the data for demographic research, something that throws the stats
off is a bonus. ;-)
