Ah, the mark of a good PC case.
Myself I've always been a fan of the "less is more" school of technology
design. Take this for example:

Can you spell "ugly"?
PS. I don't own a fridge yet. Or anywhere to put it. Or anything to put
inside it. Or any electricity to run it with, technically.
PPS. I need a better job...

I bought a washing machine the other week. That's the first time I've ever
bought anything like that, and it made me feel very grown up. Not that I
really want to be to be honest.

LOL! :) I bought a tumble dryer this morning, it made me feel very
poor... :o/
Who'd buy one of those just for drying clothes?

While we're on the subject, does anybody know of anywhere [in the UK]
where you can go and physically *look* at PC cases before you buy them?
The only computer shops I know of round here only sell 4 or 5 different
you expect?) Sure, there are places online that have a much wider range,
but a case is the one component you really want to physically *see*
before you buy it.

YoYo Tech, 30 Windmill St, W1
http://www.yoyotech.co.uk/officehour.php?osCsid=99ccb4cf89e2fc121bd3f6f7619552c2
Some of the larger Maplins, ... and if you ask nicely PC World (But
their selection is abysmal)

Looks nice.
> Some of the larger Maplins,
That's where all my cases so far have come from. Nice people, but their
case range extends to, like, 4 models. (Much of their stuff is a bit
like that though. If you want, say, a GeForce 6200, they can sell you
one. If you want an 8-series... forget it.)

Here's what happened the last time I tried at PC World:
Hi, is this case steel or aluminium?
Uuuuuhhhh... I donna mate...
... ...well can you find out please?
Oooohhh, ooookaaaaayy...
He walked off and started sulkily prodding buttons on his PC until
eventually [about 45 minutes] I got bored and left the store. Clearly
had no intension of doing anything remotely useful. [That would involve
him getting off his fat **** and doing some actual WORK.]

Gets crowded at weekends but otherwise not bad and most of the staff
know what they're talking about.

Ah, yes. He and his clones are being used by PCW since they require
minimal maintenance and they don't actually give out false information.
The other 5% of the staff work at Head Office (... a beach hut in the
Sechelles afaik :-D )
