Hi Funker,
Welcome, and don't apologise for being new, or for being here.

Just had a _very_ quick look at your tool, it looks interesting, but it
realy needs a helpfile or at least a sample workflow (I may have missed
it though). I've been clicking here and there, moving sliders etc,
without an idea of what would happen. Nothing showed up. After a click
and drag in the black area something appeared. Ah, a mountain kind of
thing. Now export it to POV-ray.
The export generates a mesh. If you realy want to use a mesh, have a
look at the mesh2 object. The resulting files will be smaller.
Another option would be to export the terrain as a 16-bit gayscale
image. POV-Ray can use these for building heigh quality heightfields.

I was pleasantly surprised, it only took a few minutes to catch it. The
program has good potential, but then, I'd rather work with a mesh anyhow,
it's easy to send into a modeler and modify if I need to. Escellent work,
Funker.

Looks incredibly interesting. I agree some documentation would be helpful,
and I wonder if you would consider adding some type of animation
capabilities.
Congrats on the great work.

Many thanks for your positive comments. I see terrabrush is working with
PovRay
Some answer:
Greyscale Bitmap: Good idea, for the future, but it need some times
Animation: in 30 Years, when I'm a senior ;-), sorry is a little bit heavy
Description: Is the most important think. There are three tutorials on my
page
http://www.cyberfunks.de/page/tipps/terrabrush.htm (only in german). This
isn't enough, but in this time I only programming and there are bigger
changes in the program.
Mesh2: Very easy, because is the same like the internal structure of
terrabrush. Yesterday I've realize the new version with a mesh2-Exporter.
Please check it.

Wanted to say that Terrabrush is a nicely intuitive little program.
Congratulations!
One annoying thing (I don't know if others have the same) is that often the
screen info (text, sliders) is covered by a white dot texture (I don't know
how to explain this). I shall post an example in p.b.i.

I haven't looked at the tool, but I can say that if it generates terrain,
then the 16-bit greyscale image for height_field usage is very important, if
you want POV-Ray users to use it. For large areas of terrain, the speed
difference is significant.
