For those of you playing with Isosurfaces, I have created a
(as-of-yet-incomplete) collection of isosurface
formulas. It is located at:

http://members.xoom.com/quadhall/isoi.html

This bunch of web pages is meant to be a supplement to these tutorials:

http://www.econym.demon.co.uk/isotut/index.htm
http://www.capital.net/~hhawkins/SBenge/Geometric%20Creations.htm

I intend to be adding more isosurfaces as time permits, particularly in
the existing "planes" section. If I can dig out my quantum mechanics
textbooks, I will create a quantum section. Any hints or suggestions on
improving these pages are welcome.

p.s. All the formulas for the iso-objects posted were derived (by me) from
scratch. Any resemblance
to previously posted code is unintentional, but probably unavoidable
due to the very basic nature
        of these formulas.

The whole page shows up as a link...the problem is near the top of the
page, with this link:
<A HREF="#pages">LINKS TO LIBRARY'S OBJECT PAGES<A/>
Look at the end...it is supposed to be </A>. :-)
I haven't had a chance to look at the functions yet, but this looks
interesting.

Looks very interesting and well structured. NTL, you should consider some syntax
highlighting for the code parts (at least a different color for the comments).

BTW, i think such a collection always has to stay incomplete, as the
possibilities of isosurfaces are nearly unlimited, so don't worry about it.

I think nobody here would complain about using something like a simple
mathematical isosurface function from code posted here.

Don't forget http://mathworld.wolfram.com/topics/AlgebraicSurfaces.html :-)

...This didn't happen with my brower (Internet Explorer), but I have fixed
the HTML code (ooops)...hope this does the trick.

Thanks for the suggestion....whenever I get around to my next update I
will try some different highlighting
schemes.......

You don't have permission to access /quadhall/isoi.html on this server.

Here it loads, although somewhat slow. It seems to be updated.
