Could it be possible to maintain possibility of supporting oldstyle links to
posts? Old way was:

while now it is something like:

but several posts on server contain links in old form. It would be a lot
easier if old form could be supported by some magic AI :-)

BTW, where news.povray.org is located ????
Is it the same country as for aussie.org ?
Because when I have 17:49, news view shows 16:48 which means Poland has the
nearly the same timezone as Australia :-)

The < and >, which are part of the message-id are missing. It should be
detecting such cases, but I guess is doesn't...

No, the server shows the time in GMT, as suggested by the server time in the
upper-right corner.

I am planning a feature to allow users to set their timezone and get times
in their local timespace instead.  Of course, the list of feature we plan
has been growing for years now, and it grows much faster than the number of
features we implement ;-)

It is my animation you probably remember: kind of morhing between letters made
with isocsg. I referenced it a few times later so it not expired after week or
two and I had not reson to cancel it myself.
