Has anyone seen an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bluescreen when rendering in WXP?
The STOP error is: 0x0000000A.

If so, know of a fix, or can anyone recommend anything?

I'm using:
WXP Gold (not SP1)
128MB system memory
1.3GHz CPU
Was rendering benchmark.pov for chess2.pov

Thanks, Shane

wtf is XP Gold? I'm only aware of Home and Professional
editions...and I didn't know the SP had been released yet.

Almost sure it's some kind of hardware problem, I don't see what POV
has to do with IRQs.

That is exactly the same error I had with WXP. It has nothing to do with
POV-Ray, but with your hardware.
VIA-chipset, right?
Possible solution: install new VIA-drivers, but that didn't help here.. I had to
reinstall W98SE.

I get this often in Adobe Premiere under Win 2000 (and previously NT) and
have been told it relates to video drivers. For example, if I am connected
to an external DV device and try to scrub in the Premiere timeline...
Do a search on exactly that message in the MS Knowledge Base and you will
see several possible causes.
I don't believe it has anything to do with POV.

Thank you to all for replying. I'll attempt to answer some of the questions
in the various replies below.

1) WXP Gold is simply a common tag used to communicate the initial release
of WXP, whether it be Home or Pro
2) Yes, WXP SP1 is now released
3) My video controller is an ATI M9
4) I'm thinking hardware as well

Thanks again, Shane

I don't see anything about XP SP1 on MS's webpage...I see Office XP SP1,
but nothing for the OS. Info?

I haven't seen this with POV, but SiSoft Sandra's Memory Benchmark always
crashes my computer with the same bluescreen. You'll find more info at:
