They certainly count. Are you "romanticizing the use" of the aircraft? If so
consider EPIC
Are you celebrating the craftmanship of the manufacture of such a high tech
device? If so consider MACHINE DESIGN.
The upload preview page stated a deadline of 10/31/01.

Just get things in soon. If only 27 have done so so far, the project is more
likely to be a complete bust than to have a large handful of folks gnashing
their teeth.

Thanks Greg. I'll be sure to upload them before the day ends :)

I chose "novice" and ended up being an "honoree", whatever that is.

Since it coincides with the IRTC deadline, there's no chance I'm going to
get images in today. Give me another week or two to find my various backups
of my work, and I'll be able to get in 5-10 images.

Similar thing. I selected 'intermediate' and it said I was a dabbler.

FOLKS!
Sorry for the confusion.
Just ignore this *one* question. If it has anything to do with the final CD, it
will be handled by an email survey after everyone has uploaded.
History:
I thought that it would be really cool to allow people compare, say the average
person who has been crawling around the povray code vs. the average person who
has "won something" vs the newbie. One of the visions I have for the CD is to
allow for multiple indexes, to suit whatever folks happen to be interested in
the moment: a country, a style, a theme, etc. So I put the experience as a
question on the original draft of the questionaire. THEN in discussion here a
number of folks objected to these categories; rather than defending the vision I
have, I caved, perhaps because I read it during a stressful day at work. I
asked Steve, who has written the code, to make the change, but it was already
after several folks had uploaded, and I didn't follow through in all the other
web documentation about the project. IMHO I shouldn't have caved, as I think
there would be greater interest in comparing pov-coder to honoree than "3rd rank
of experience" to "2nd rank of experience."

By all means. The IRTC's dl is etched in stone, this one is not.

I emailed Greg a while back about some upload issues, and he said the
tech wizards were already at work on them.

As far as I can tell, none have been fixed yet. I don't know about 1
and 4 because I haven't used the upload script since then, but I know 2
and 3 have not been done. I for one do not like having a mystery CD, I
want to know that a) everything's working, and b) I am satisfied with
what I enetered. I uploaded some LEGO renders too, so there may be a
legal issue here if I didn't put in the proper information. LEGO also
requests that I send them a copy of my uploads, and I would like to be
able to retrieve the descriptions I entered for each pic.
Please, edit the scripts, then you can start talking about a deadline.
