One more thing, how come the links to the newsgroups only
shows on the non-frames page? Or is it that I am looking
in the wrong place?

That page only lists the newsserver. There is no direct link to the web
newsgroup view on www.povray.org for now.

I liked the instructions and thought they were very clear, they would be
understandable to your average windws/web user who's never heard of usenet
while not being so low level as to make it boaring and tedious to read for
others.

It's amazing how many people there are out there who've never heard of news
groups or news servers.

I thought the same about the colours for quoted text.

There is a surprisingly HUGE amount of people out there, to whom
internet=WWW, nothing more, nothing less. They have never heard of
anything else than WWW, and they think that WWW is the only thing there is.
They are completely unaware of the existence of other programs which can be
used to operate and communicate in the internet (even if they hear/read
something about, for example, SSH, IRC, news, etc, they either don't know
what people are talking about, or they just think it's something related
to WWW). Although they receive and send email, they don't realize that
it's something different from WWW.
I personally know one of these people (for some reason I have only one
friend like this; all my other friends know computers and the internet
quite well...), but I have never seen the trouble in explaining that there's
more.

The language of these people can be hilarious sometimes. For example
when they say "start the internet" they actually mean "start the web browser"
(usually IE).

You didn't understand what I meant. Try again ;-)

BlackICE might as well just say:

"You are running an outdated copy of Sub7Server."
   [Upgrade Now!] [Upgrade Later] [Cancel]

But then again, never trust a product featured in PC Magazine. ;)

":( Are you sure? You will not be asked to upgrade again."
   [Yes] [No]

That seems more feasible the more I think about it. I guess all you'd need
to do is set up a signature file in the preferences which auto applies a
java script to run a render and upload the image into the message.
Of course, I can only imagine and not actually create such things.
