I think it's a great idea. I would offer my
basement digital studio for sound and
music production.

The question is what would be the market value of a movie JUST about
Rusty? My guess: very little outside the IRTC folks: Hallam Oak's CD's
hopefully have a broad enough appeal to have some market appeal outside
IRTC.
A CD-ROM collection of "Your Best Animations, Featuring 67 MB [note: not
670 MB] of 'Rusty's Big Adventure,' ", however, might be a hot seller.
I'm working on this collection of still images, and we're trying to get the
upload code ready, so it should actually get off the ground soon. But I
can disclose that at times in the past year Chris Cason suggested I might
run something like this and then I later suggested it to Chris. Note: If
anyone does not like the speed or way I handle things and has a grand,
marketable vision for an animation progject like this and wants to run with
it, you are welcome to send a note to Ken Tyler with your proposal (he will
forward to Chris Cason). If Chris wants to go with your business plan, I
say more power to you, my wife will be happier! :)

I consider there is great deal I have yet to learn about POV-Ray, but if I
can be of any assistance then I humbly offer my services.

Agreed.
There's so many things I'd like to ask you about it, and so many problems I
can foresee in a construction such as this. I shan't start on them now, I
figure at the moment you just need to gauge support.
If you'll have me, you count me in.
p.s. I know a little green bug that would go barmy at the chance of sneaking
into a *REAL* movie - He's only little, you'll hardly notice he's there.

I'm not doing anything on the IMP. I say, go for it! I'll be there to lend
you some spare cycles... :)

I now seem to remember that the old WB shorts run at about 7 minutes or
so, so an entire half hour might not be needful for success.

I've been there and there's nothing I can look at
because it requires a password.
