I tried to render the Chasedog rendering with Megapov 0.5.
In the file I can see that it uses radiosity, but when it's rendering I
can see that the option is not used by MegaPOV, and it shows.
Wasn't there some kind of command line option I had to specify ?
OK, I know it's probably in the helpfile, but I can't find it.
I thought it was something like +R3 or something, but that doesn't seem
to have any effect.
Sorry for asking the obvious.

There's this thing called "manual". Have you ever heard of that?

To use radiosity, you have to add a 'radiosity {}' block to the global_settings
in the scene file and use the +QR command line option.
BTW, povray.newusers would be the best for such questions.

That 's the first place I looked, but then Povray or Megapov gives me
errors when I try to consult it.
Anyway, glad to see that some people try to help.

Hey, let's keep the tradition of being nice to people, even if they do a few
"mistakes"! :-)
My first question in this group could be answered from the manual, but
people here were very helpful and nice to me anyway. I thought, "Nice
people!" and I stayed in these groups. Now I've been here for a while, and
I've been able to help many people here myself.
Greetings,
Rune

What kind of errors? If you're using the Windows version, try deleting
the help index file (not the help file but the index file), Windows
will rebuild it and your manual will work just fine. Or if that fails,
try downloading the POV manual in a more compatible format as HTML or
PDF.

Warp can't help his programmer's thinking, his first thought is
always "It's your fault (l)user, RTFM!" :)
(just kidding, Warp :) )
