In fact, what I have is the image map that was bundled with the
corresponding Poser zebra model. As it's not much useful for anything
else, I'm not sure that's what Peter needs.
Btw, zebra textures to uv-map Poser people are available at
http://www.renderosity.com, Poser free stuff section (search for
"zebra"). Curious, but not quite helpful either.

If the image maps suggested don't serve your purposes you might consider
examining the code for Rune's pattern control trick:

I'm thinking a marble with some low turb inside of a bozo would do the
trick,
using the bozo to control the width of the 'stripe' and the overall
arrangement of stripes.

That's probably the best solution (image map), I guess I was
hoping for some 'magic bullet.'
