Does anyone out there know the current status of sPatch?
It hasn't been updated in nearly two years and I think that there is a lot
of potential in that application. I hope to see future releases, soon.
Please, add to this if you have any news on the subject, or perhaps you just
want to add your two cents.
Thanks in advance

(!!!) Do'nt forget that this stuff is freeware. There aren't any claims
for regular updating!

From what I heard (I don't remember where) Mike Clifton discontinued
development of sPatch, so don't get your hopes up...

If he did discontinue it, I hope that he would release his source code so
that others could make improvements to it.
This is a sad day for me

Same rumor here. I remember someone said that the algorithm used in spatch would
be used in commercial software so that the source would no be released.

Did sPatch copy Animation Master or did the reverse happen?
If you know sPatch splines, you already know how to run Animation Master...

SPatch is a copy of a very early version of A:M from what I've heard on the subject.
I don't think sPatch has been around nearly as long either.

Well, I've been checking out the Animation:Master homepage, has anyone used
this program before? It sounds awesome, and it might be worth the investment
to a beginner who's only applications so far are Rhino/POV-Ray/BMRT/sPatch.
Please, let me know what you think of this app.
Thanks in advance

I've been using it for almost two years now. Personally, I don't think there's
another program out there for under $500 or even $1000 that can do as much. And
if you want to use it with POV, BMRT, or even MAX, I have written several
plugins to handle all that with A:M. They are listed on my homepage at
http://free.prohosting.com/~olana
All you need is to look at the user galleries on their homepage to see what it's
capable of.

as you said you would :)
