The Illusion Include File is now available
from my website:
http://rsj.mobilixnet.dk
The Illusion Include File lets you apply an
image to a surface in such a way that the
image when viewed from a certain point is
not deformed by perspective, neither by the
shape of the surface. You can set the point
from which the illusion is complete, that
is, not deformed. You can also set the
dimensions, orientation, and quality of the
illusion.
Examples of what the illusion include file
can do can be found on my website.
Hope you find it useful and make some nice
images with it :-)
Greetings,
Rune S. Johansen

Wow. Thanks!
Oh, I know it's handy to link directly to the
page but I would prefer if the link was to the
root directory ( http://rsj.mobilixnet.dk ) so
the menu bar and so on works.

Your welcome.

You should know I did not single you out this way. I discriminate against
everybody's web sites equally in regards to bypassing their main page and
going straight to the goodies page.

If you really want it that way I guess I can go through all of the
hassle of changing the links on two web sites to accomodate your wishes.
Just kidding. It is done.

Not everyone... When I submitted the link to my IOR-file I gave you
the direct link, and you changed it to th root of my site ;)

A simple oversight on my part I assure you :)

That's the reason why no-one should use frames. They really cause more
trouble than are handy. Seriously.
If I'm not completely wrong, it seems to be a trend to avoid frames in
the WWW nowadays (a couple of years ago the trend was completely the opposite).
That's very positive. Let's hope I'm right.
The usual way to make the same functionality is using tables. They usually
are a lot more harmless if used correctly.

You are wright again.

I avoid frames, too, however in my current project I need a) variable
height fields and b) scrolling the contents of a field. This can not
be done with tables at the moment. I agree, though, that frames whould
be used as a last resort.

I wouldn't that the main page was skipped if
it wasn't because that also skips the menu bar
which is the core of my website.

Can we continue this thread in povray.off-topic?
See my thread "Webdesign: Frames or not?"
There's some questions I have.
