Thanks people!

Haven't had a lough like that for ages :-)

You for got a few though, like the one who produces a 3D sterio
image and postes it in binaries.images, and the one wo writes
back saying it's KEWWELL!, and the two who reply saying they
can't focus because the light hurts their eyes.

OH and you forgot the one who's trying to produce an image of a
lightbulb and doesn't know how to get the light source inside the
object.

Cheers Steve

No, actually I've just upgraded to a new keyboard that has special chat
hotkey buttons on it for that, but Windows doesn't like it yet... have to
install the drivers... it has the following hotkeys: +ACI-he +ACI-, +ACI-brb+ACI-,
+ACI-lol+ACI-,
+ACI-ha +ACI-, +ACI-od+ACI-, +ACIAIQAhACEAIg-, +ACI-???+ACI-, +ACI-...+ACI-,
+ACIAOw--)+ACI-, +ACI-:-)+ACI- and a double line return key
that looks like a down arrow with a double line.

I hate snazy keyboards. I've got an old IBM Model 70 keyboard,
it'll stay with me forever if I have my way. It's chuncky, noisy
and heavy, I'm thinking of spraying it metalic blue or black
(the cover, not the keys).

Actually I don't know the meaning of all of those abbreviations. (brb, lol,
od, ect...) Is there some place where I can look up common net expressions?

Thanks,

hmm, I know of no such page(I'm sure there are lots of them)
but most of the acronyms are from IRC.

brb : Be Right Back
afk : Away From Keyboard
lol : Laugh Out Loud
bbs : Be back Soon
bbl : be back later
rotfl : rolling on the floor laughing

Theese are those that are most common.
