Um, not media in it at all, just a PSP 5 animated gif effect. And it's
red and green lights diffusing on the top and bottom. No pink intended.
I tend not to like any of mine the moment I'm done with them, there's
always something to fix.

He may not say much, but he always has a picture (even if it is
miniature) :)
This is another neat one. I may have to vow not to vote if asked.

Updated mine, however I need to get the "POV-Ray" font larger, well, not
larger as much as bolder. The lack of thickness makes it difficult to
see correctly, as has been duely noted.
3K file size on this one. Animated version to follow as reply to this
post.

This one is 28K in size, 30 frames.

Thanks for commenting Phil.
I get what you mean, then I'd have the shadow helping it. There is a
shadow where the tiny image is though it doesn't show.
I like the font, it's Park Avenue, except the bold is not much good. The
size overall can be increased but would not gain much thickness even at
the larger size. I even tried a slightly scaled up secondary one for use
as backdrop and it didn't help enough. I'll either quit this one or come
up with yet a better font method.

Very regrettable! I had a good laugh about that "POV ///" !

<CPU flame on>
However, it could have lead people to think that POV 3 was just
POV 2 with a few useless additionnal functions, at twice the price ;)
<CPU flame off>

Cheers,
Fabien.

What do you think of the other logo?

I still have that if you want it. I don't just delete a file when I change something.
That one is available in 478x170 if you like.

No way!! It looks as though a light source is passing from left to right behind the
text,
casting rays towards the camera in a scattering media. How on earth did you get that
effect if not with the method described above?

all the best,

Yep, you can check out a demo of PSP 5 with the Animation Shop and see
for yourself if you haven't seen it already. Trial of 30 days on it, I
just bought this last week. Here's the site:
