I meant "who is going to do at some new site what Twyst will
not do any longer at twysted.net"? 'what' = collecting all
those goodies.

What will be happening to the Pov Objects Collection currently
residing at your site ? I personaly don't percieve such a collection
at povray.org to be a bad thing. It's current size can't be much more
that a couple to a few megs at most and the download statistics
indicate to me that many people like it including me.

I wonder if you will implement the "you know you've been raytracing to
long when...".

It's true, it will be a big lost for me who like playing with any
POV-related file !
Hope your talents will be appreciated in povray.org to.

I've been told that Lance Birch has the full collection. I _think_ his URL
is http://come.to/the.zone

I'll have to work something out. I'm not entirely sure what I'm gonna do
with it yet -- but something WILL get done. =)

I will give Twyst any resources he needs to keep anything that is currently on
twysted.net. If he wants to keep patchstation, then it'll be kept.

Well, lets get positive:-)
I like the idea of joining efforts and it will be good to find good
resources on povray.org. I personally got a little bored of going there
once a week to find nothing new.
But, yes there is a but, I found twysted.net a bit more responsive than
povray.org. I wonder if the server will seamlessly take the additional
load. It would be a sad thing to see a good resource coming up at no
speed.

Keep alive and kicking, and I look forward to the 'new' site

Axel

well, that one of the things we're working on..

hrm? that's rather odd, as twysted.net is hosted on a single 64K ISDN line,
on a little 486... I have the feeling that the povray.org server is a little
more powerful =)

I agree, twysted.net seems slower than povray.org, though i didn't have any
trouble downloading the patches (or perhaps they are on a different server).
