The solid mesh thing with Nathan Kopp's UVPOV won't work with sPatch models
right cause those are splines not meshes?  Can I convert sPatch output to a
mesh so I can CSG it?

spatch can export as dxf and that can be converted to a POV inc via a
multitude (ok... at least it is more than one) converters.

Also... don't forget that this feature is still not perfect (far from it).
