You probably don't see, because the hatch is pointing towards the
camera. That the phone is kept inside the box and is accessed by opening
the small door.

I've refrained from commenting on this great image because I don't want
to nitpick. The Hippy van is too clean imo.
And, this is not a criticism, blue police boxes look wrong to me. It is
personal because police boxes in Glasgow were painted the same red as
post boxes. When Dr Who started it was broadcast in B&W. So it did not
look wrong.

Wow!, this is phenomenal.. The bridge and vegetation look totally realistic,
some other parts are a bit less so but still fantastic.

From the thumbnail I thought you had composited the Tardis into a photo.

Looking forward to seeing the night time version also.

Thank you, Sean. As usual I was lazy at some point and unfortunately the
night time version shows the shortcomings even more.

I have absolutely nothing against nitpicking! On the contrary, as I see
major and minor flaws *everywhere* it is quite helpful to know what
catches the eyes of others.

You already explained this 4 years ago ;) but BTW: in the late 70ies I
visited Glasgow multiple times but do not remember having seen any
police box - so I assume they where already dismantled back then?

My explanation: The Doctor is somewhere else eating fish fingers with
custard.

The height warning sign on the rail bridge. In the UK metric units are
only optional. Seeing a metric only one looks strange.
The signpost. For one that old looking I would expect to see the
distance in miles on the fingers. It is a great signpost btw.
The young lady. If you dressed her in Poser's cloth room. The I would
have let her dress settle for a few more frames. The hip bag is a nice
touch. I still have mine. :)

But they are all minor criticisms.

And 4 years before that as well. That bee is certainly in my bonnet. ;)

Not all of them. There are still a few left. But I see on the internet
that they have mostly been painted blue now. In the early 70s There was
one next to the bus stop outside of my wife's parents house. So for old
times sake* they are forever red.

"Auld lang syne" would have been an appropriate phrase here.

Fun fact: the bridge is only 3.6 meters and this sign was just meant as
a placeholder, but then I did completely forget about it - until now.

Thanks anyway, as mentioned I find this quite useful and inspiring.

Some error why this image cannot be real:

The license plate is illegal. German number plates have max. 8
letters+digits. So in "Wolfsburg" (WOB) there is only "XX 999" allowed,
or "X 9999", but not "XX 9999".

:-D
