The vinyl pouch the set came in has 'charvoz' on the front and 'Made In
Canada' on the back. Although I think only the pouch was made here.
Some of the other pieces where acquired separately.

And not to confuse things, here is a 2mm lead holder, without the end
caps, or the leads, or the little harp symbol.

Given that they all say "Germany", it would indeed be quite a surprise
if they were made in Canada ;)

Let's put it this way: I think the pouch /content/ was made here.

As for the timestamps on my news group postings, I'm of course faking
them to confuse people ;)

I thought he meant that it was the last one owned but one. Or the one he
had before the last one.
Maybe someone would translate that into English, for me. :)

This is mine sans the cap and top. I throw that away as soon as I get
it. (I use the rubber a lot. Okay! the eraser.)

I have one like this in picture only blue.

German made technical what do you call ems. Good quality and desirable.

As an aside.
Did you know that there are several internet Slide Rule museums. Many
more than when I last looked.

Confusion! Confusion! I am deeply sorry :-)

It is as clipka says: I had not been aware that there were more pages on
the site. So it is the 2mm mine holder.

Semantics, my friend. I just tried to be concise. Never do that in a
foreign language ;-)

I also use different 0.5mm Pentels. Green for some reason.

Everyday English doesn't handle logical construction of sentences very
well. They seem long winded.
You end up sounding like Yoda the truth be told. :)
Or maybe I worked in the Netherlands one job too many. ;-)

I use them as a Memento Mori of where I have worked. I have misplaced
the one I had when I was offshore and that irks. Something is missing
from my hoard.
