I can't seem to find any combination of parameters that will allow me to run
povray without displaying the main window.  By telling it not to load the
various scene files I can speed it up, but I would prefer to be able to run
POV with no visible GUI at all.

In first chapter of "Tutorial and Reference Manual" of "POV-Ray 3.5 for
Windows" there is dedicated section about Windows specific options for
POV-Ray. Is that sufficient ?
