One question: how?
Having looked at it to see if it was a decent alternative I found Movie
Maker wouldn't accept any other frame rate than 1 to 60 seconds when still
images are imported. Seems it was made to put together previously done AVI
and MPEG files and their variations or to create a slideshow of stills.
Maybe that's what you meant though, to splice your already created
animations together. However even at that the file sizes I've seen are
enormous compared to other encoders. So I don't know what MS was thinking
about when adding it into their collection of "bloatware". Except that the
typical PC buyer would have something to toy with out of the box without
getting another program. Might go with the typical netcam well enough but
then those have the software to record anyhow, just maybe not splice
together.
Sorry, but it's a disappointment to me. Cmpeg still does a great job for
the 512 x 320 and under resolutions I tend to do. My VideoWave II even sits
mostly idle.
