Probably never. POV-Ray uses its own modelling language. You might

The only program that I know of that might be able to do this
would be Polytrans which is a commercial conversion program with

Perhaps never. One way to export: write a .ftl or .stl file (this are
files for rapid-prototyping). Those files contain thousands of
triangles. You can convert the format by a small program or perhaps even
thomas baiers convert-routine works with it.

I am pretty sure that Thomas' conversion program has no support for
those file formats. There are a couple of .stl to .pov converters
that I know of however that should be able to do what you mentioned
at these sites -
