Could someone tell me how to convert the HALO keyword in old POV files
to the newer POV 3.1 MEDIA clause? THanks.

Thanks, but I didn't see anything about converting HALO to MEDIA there.
Just a tutorial on MEDIA. I was looking for a conversion program really.

There are no programs or even include files that I have heard of which
can accomplish this. I have only had one occasion where I needed to convert
a halo to media and I personally found it a rather straight forward job.
The syntax between the two is similar enough that it shouldn't be too
difficult for you if you work at it a bit and refer to the docs in the
related sections. If you have a particular example that is causing you
problems then post it in the appropriate group and I'm sure someone will
lend you a hand until you are up to speed on it. I would say that that
person would be me but I never really learned how to use the halo feature
and dove straight into media when it came out. Others however have made
the transition OK so I suppose it is a fairly easy thing to do.
