Do you see a small cursive font in the editor window?
The only thing I know of is POV-Ray for Windows 3.1* having a font
setting in CodeMax (Editor/CodeMax Properties on menu). Color/Font tab
says Font and shows a preview, [Change] button allows a different font
to be used. Sounds more like your printer itself or printer software is
controlling things. Do you have font selections in either? Check them.

What I can see, when you choose "Print..." in the File menu, you can set the
font in the "Print File" dialog you get. A display of the current font and
a big butten with "Choose...". Or did I get your question wrong?
