Hi!
     Newbie here. I'm using the latest Windows version with Windows 95.
I'm working through the tutorial/documentation. In
the section for Height Fields, you first create an image in .TGA
"Targa" format. My images are all in Windows Bitmap (.BMP) format.
     How do I change the format to .TGA? I was under the impression that
.TGA was a native POV-RAY image format. Is there a setting or .INI file
to modify? Need help here. Please send an email reply to:

Choose "edit master povray.ini" from the tools menu
and add the following line anywhere in the file:

Output_File_Type = t

If you want to create a tga for a height field you need to convert your bmps
to tga in paint shop pro or corel draw or photoshop or any image conversion
program
