In POV-Ray v3.1 the images are guarded by defect in a subdirectory
"images", As can do so that guards the images in the same directory
where is the file *.pov?

Thank you :

That would depend entirely on where you chose to save them.
Next time you save a.pov file ( or try saving one you are working
on now with the save as command) check to see what directory
the save window shows. Another trick you can try is on the bottom
of the tools menu is a drop to dos command. If you choose that
it should drop you into where your files are. There is always the
windows explorer find command. If you know the name of even
one of the .pov files you are looking for enter into the find file window
and let windows do the work for you.

Edit the file povray.ini (if you are using POV for Windows, go Tools/Edit
Master povray.ini) and find the line that says:

output file name = c:\images\povray

where the path points to the directory/folder your images are stored.
Comment this line and POV defaults should take care of the rest.

Hope this helps

Peter
