You don't know how right you are. Here's my favo(u)rite change that
was made between POV 3.01 and POV 3.02. For those who don't know how
to read unified diffs and/or C: they fixed the spelling of a word in
a comment, never seen by mere mortals. Now that's perfection, ladies
and gents.

That's great!

However, since the entire known universe is hitting the povray site, are
there other sites that also carry 3.1 for Win95/98/x86 NT ?

Thanks.

Jim

Glen Berry has a mirror set up with the windows and
dos versions. Plus he has the first known unofficial
linux port of 3.1 by Ron Parker.

http://www.ezwv.com/~mclilith/index.html

Twyst also has the official release. I think the
address is http://www.twysted.net / com ?
or is that ftp://twysted.net / com ?

Well something like that anyway.

My experiance recently had Glen's site about
twice as fast as Twyst's site but that may have
changed by now due to traffic.

Well I got lucky. Both of the links I typed in work.
ONLY the http address has the files available for
download. The ftp site appears to be in it's infancy
still.
