For fli -> mpeg you will lose the color depth, but use DTA (Dave's Targa
Animator) to make fli into many .TGA files, and use cmpeg (DOS program)
to make those into an MPG file.

Get cmpeg at http://www.mpeg.org/

If you are making the animation for POV-Ray, don't make it into a fli
first, that loses a TON of quality. Just TGAs -> MPEG.
