I am using POV-Ray under Windows 7 and it works fine. I then tried to install
MegaPOV by unzipping the binaries as described in the docs in the POV-Ray
directory, which for me is
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\POV-Ray\v3.6\

However when I start the MegaPOV binary I get a pop-up window:


"WARNING: Cannot find COLORS.INC in expected location.

This file is important for the normal operation of POV-Ray [...]"


How can I fix this so that I can use MegaPOV?

I am using:
POV-Ray for Windows, Version 3.6.2.msvc9-sse2.win32
MegaPOV 1.2.1
Windows 7 Professional

There have been some changes in the 3.6.2 installer
regarding directory structure for Windows 7 compatibility
that MegaPOV is not aware of. Try copying all files from

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\POV-Ray\v3.6\

to

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\POV-Ray\v3.6\

I think MegaPOV will then be satisfied on startup.
