Hi All,
I am new to POV-RAY, would like to know is it
possible to run POV-RAY or MegaPov in Windows in
command line mode with out GUI main window.
Searching for this information, but didn't get
the solid answer, pls let me know is it possible,
is anybody running pls share your experience like
how to recompile with our GUI support on Windows
and command line options to suppress GUI main window
in Windows platform etc.

Just out of curiosity: Why do you want to?
Perhaps there's a better solution to the problem.

we are setting up Grid software demo, where we thought of using
POV-RAY as one of the demo application to run on the Grid, Grid
client is Windows and we don't want to show the POV-RAY main
window to the client user, Grid client will send the povray
result back to the server.
pls let me know if you have a better solution to this!

The standard Povray doesn't, but Megapov does. I don't know the actual
command off the top of my head, and I don't see it right away on the
Megapov site, but the site does mention that it exists.

You know you've been raytracing too long when your text editor has macro
keys for each and every POV primitive including the poly object and the
julia fractal.
