While we're on the subject, any chance, Ron, of a quick service release of
the superpatch with this bug fixed! I'm desperate for the facilities of the
superpatch to use with meshes.

And update it I have.  Have fun, but try not to base a lot of new
patches on this code, so it'll be easier to merge stuff in later.
