I've already asked this on povray.advanced-users without any luck...

I seem to have stumbled upon a rather odd error with the conic-sweep
prisms... i've found that something i am doing is causing it to have
incorect values... in fact, it's scaling all my values up by a number...
I can't seem to figure out exactly what the problem is, but i've
duplicated it on both my windows and linux computers...

It's realy getting me anoyed since it's stoping my work on bevel gears.
if anyone can figure out what's happening, make a patch or a work-around
or the like i would be most apreciative...

the file attached shows exactly what is hapening, i've used cut-paste to
get the math and values to be exact between the two(was figuring the
linear-sweep might have re-set some values... it didn't) oh, and i've
changed the names to the variables as well(having no effect)... but the
rest is a copy of the first...

Love to have some help

AHA, so conic prisms are based off of a plane at y*1, hehehe... that would cause all
my
problems... got it fixed now, no need to worry :)
