Is that good or not ?
Is it blazing fast, or slower than a snail ?
Moving like a tree, or running like a leopard ?
(what's the time for --benchmark, also describe the processor)
(hint: Linux, compiled with intel v12 C++ compiler, benchmark is down to
2 minutes 10 seconds (render only) with 12 threads on i7 X 980
(3.33 GHz);)
Same hardware, gnu compiler: 2 minutes 30 seconds (only render part too)
Memory speed may play a role too, as this numbers are not far from the
result with an i7 970 (3.2 GHz, but same memory speed) (the 5%
difference in frequency does not appear in the time on i7 970 as such: 2
minutes 31 seconds)
(measurement not always reproducible as other events can kick in, about
5s to 10s of hazard on final time)

Well, it's better than being slower! I have an AMD Phenom II x6 1090T @ 3.2 GHz.
--benchmark gives 3 minutes 10 seconds for both 3.7 RC3 and RC4
