Please see povray.biaries.utilities, subject 'Crater field' for my
NewCraters program, which generates crater heightfields in .pgm format so
they can be read by povray. A Linux executable & portable C source code are
supplied, as well as documentation & some bash scripts. Also see p.b.i for
