Since the HTML version of the documentation does only offer a keyword 
index and no full text search function as it is available in the Windows 
HTMLHelp version i wrote a simple script to easily search the docs.

It uses SWISH++ (a text indexing and search tool: 
http://homepage.mac.com/pauljlucas/software/swish/) to do the search and 
generates a HTML file with the tabulated search results.

It is designed for the 3.6 documentation - if you want to use it with 
the 3.5 docs manual modifications would be required.

As usual it should be possible to use it on Windows as well with Cygwin.
