Gentoo Linux 1.4rc3, Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 & Debian GNU/Linux unstable,
FreeBSD 5.0 and Cygwin.
Been using GNU/Linux in general for more than 7 years.
Running Povray 3.50c (and to some extent MegaPov, as of yet only on
Windows 2000).

In addition to using RedHat Linux (7.2 I believe) I regularly use AIX 5.1
systems (Power 4 and Power 4+) with version 3.1 and sometime 3.5. I also
have a 64 bit version of pov 3.1 somewhere.

Been using POv for about 2or 3 years, just as a form of entetainment.

Useing on RedHAt Linux, which I have used since redhat 5.2, runig rh8 now.

Biggest complaint? My old machine isn't up to the task, dont think there
is much you can do about that though, it's a PII300.

This may be a little old. I use knoppix debian and 3.5c. Very easy to
install. Using Linux for 2 years now. Use 'kate' text editor to edit my
phpcad scripts for povray.
www.phpcad.com. Yes, I developed(ing) a php tool to be used with povray. I
have the movie portion working, and made movies, but probably won't upload
for 1 month til the ui is perfect.

Simple backgrounds I have made.

Linux, debian-stable, kernel 2.4.20 (custom built), povray 3.5 (downloaded
povray.org binary, the stable .deb is out of date.)
I've been using povray on Linux off-and-on for about 5 years.
I have povray installed on several machines.
