Hello!
I just installed povray 3.1 for linux and I have troubles: it starts parsing
then comes the following error

Parsing.................................x-povray: error in loading shared
libraries: /usr/lib/libpng.so.2: undefined symbol: inflateInit_

I tryed downloading a newer version of libpng, but it's the same.
This happens both with x- and s-povray.
My system: Suse 6.3 Kernel 2.2.13, pentium II 266
Can anybody help me?

Also, povray seems to ignore the .povrayrc file in my home dir.

Thank you

Did you try to recompile povray against this new version as well?
