I have created a program that will take bitmaps as frames from a POV ray
animation and compress them into a movie file.
This program is free for public use, however still in beta form (use at own
risk). The program checks for automatic updates, so people will
automatically receive updates to the latest version after they install it.
The program is for windows and requires the .Net frame work to run.
You may use the web installer to install it at the following link...
http://www.tovennet.net/media_server/PovAnimator/publish.htm
Also I have some sample work I did using the program (compressed using divx)
Download div file here:
http://www.tovennet.net/media_server/MyAVI.avi
Features:
Automatic time coding of movie (will stretch frames to match movie length
requirements)
Compress using any installed codec with easy access to codec compression
options.
Installs in seconds with easy to use web installer and stays up to date with
the latest patches automatically!
No viruses / spywere / addwere
Free to use (open license)
Be shure to reply to this thred and let me know what you all think!

VirtualDub and mencoder are both open source and free, and I don't think
their foot print is very large nor do they take long to install. They have
a fair amount of features.
